Call for proposals
This pre-conference aims to identify the main challenges practitioners, researchers and educators in the field of communication and journalism face in view of the cultural, political and media transformations that affect society along the century. Past, present an future converge in today´s landscape of values and in many occasions decisions are still based on past experiences. Some of the questions posed by this era of transition are: Which values are challenged? Which need to be reassessed? How can practitioners, researchers and educators raise to this challenge? If trust is the main value of communication, how can it be reinforced in distributed environments?
